FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

We know everyone has questions, and you are welcome to contact us. We will gladly assist in making your experience at Natural Touch memorable. Here are a few of the most asked questions.

If you have any additional questions concerning anything, please don't hesitate to contact us to request more information.

Our friendly customer service staff will help find the best solutions for you.

01) What About Tipping?
Tipping is not required, but it is appreciated. None of the Therapists at Natural Touch are company owners. The standard gratuity is 10 to 20% of the cost of the service provided. You may tip with cash or you may add gratuities to your credit card.

02) What should I wear during my treatment?

Most body treatments are enjoyed without clothing; however, please wear whatever is comfortable for you. During all treatments, the body is fully draped, except for the area being worked on. Robes and slippers are provided if your treatment involves a Wet room treatment. For Salt/Sugar Rubs and Spray Tans, men should bring swim trunks.

03) What is your policy on Lost Gift Certificates?

Gift cards are never lost.  We have the ability to track all gift cards that are issued through us.  However, our Gift cards do expire, so don't let that slip up on you.

04) What about my comfort?

This is your time and you should delight in the experience to the fullest. If you experience discomfort due to room temperature, massage pressure, music volume or any other conditions, please tell your therapist immediately.

05) Can I apply my gift certificate to another service?

Yes you can. The certificate will be redeemed in a dollar amount (the value of the original purchase). If the service value is less than the gift certificate value, you will have a Natural Touch Credit. This credit can only be applied to another service. You cannot use this credit to get cash back or tip the therapists. If the service is more you owe the difference. All gift certificates expire in six months from date of purchase. No exceptions.

06) Should I tell my therapists if I/m using any prescription medicine?
Yes. Absolutely. This information is very important to all treatments at Natural Touch. It will be held in  the strictest of confidence. Please inform your therapist of any and all medications that you are currently taking prior to treatment.

07) I'm pregnant, what types of treatments can I receive?
A pregnant client needs to focus on unique treatments that will make her body feel especially good during this special time of her life. For a pregnant client, Natural Touch has a specific massage, called a Pre-natal Massage, where the client lays on a specially designed table where she can actually lay on her stomach comfortably. Regarding facials, a pregnant client can book any facial treatment EXCEPT the Hot Stone, Microdermabrasion or the Aromatherapy Facials. In hydrotherapy, a pregnant client cannot have wraps due to the fact that raising the core body temperature during pregnancy is dangerous for the fetus. However, anyone of our scrubs will make an expecting client feel fabulous. (Note: All treatments for pregnant woman can only be performed once she has entered her second trimester.)

08) Is it best to shave before any of your treatments?
We recommend that you do not shave before any scrub appointments. Be aware that shaving may cause irritation during the scrub treatment because we use mineral salt and natural sugars. It is best for men to shave their facial area in the morning and to book their facial in the afternoon or evening. This way their skin will not be sensitive during the facial and the skin will still be smooth enough for the esthetician to perform the treatment comfortably for the gentleman.

09) Is it okay to put make-up on after my facial?

It is fine to apply make-up after a facial, unless otherwise instructed by the Therapist.

10) Is it best to eat right before or after my services?
It is best to not have a large meal within  2 hours before your services or have a light meal just before. There should be no problem having a meal after your services are completed.

11) What happens if I arrive late?
We regret that late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled service time and will be responsible for full service fees.

12) When should I arrive before my massage?

We recommend that you arrive 10 minutes before your appointment. If you are a first time client, a profile will be completed prior to service.

13) Can I make appointments?

Natural Touch is a personalized day spa. We offer customized treatments, so all sessions require advanced appointments. We recommend calling as far in advance as possible to ensure availability.
